Okay I'll admit it: I've caught the Snape/Lily fever. I can't help it! It's so sad that so many things went between them that were unsaid and...*takes a deep breath* just imagining what could have been is heart-wrenching.
My second attempt--I should say "experiment"--at using copic makers; I love using them, they're absolutely so much fun!
I've wanted to do another Snape and Lily fanart for a while and last night the idea finally sprung up to me to draw this. I went a tiny bit over board with the colors but it's not finished I still have to draw the background and such and I'm debating whether to do that in copics too or just leave in black and white.

Anyway. What I imagine is happening in this picture is Snape is once again picked on by the Marauders--aka James and Sirius--and he was walking down the castle's corridors when Lily sees him.
"Oh Sev," she says exasperatedly as she touches his eye tenderly. "Did Potter do this again? He needs to stop picking on people! I'm gonna find him and give him a whelp and see if he likes it!"
....It must've been hard for Snape. Not being seen as a man in Lily's eyes, but seen as someone weaker than her that needed protecting--aw fuck, nowimgonnacry...
