It was very useful, I could paint all the grass on the ground around the elf prince. ^^ Smudge tool is great trick.
By the way I hope you don't mind if I paint flowers like you did on the pic. They're just beautiful! ^^"

This is by far the best grass tutorial I've seen on dA (: do you have any tips on how to use this technique when creating large areas of grass, for example, meadows and fields?

yes, in the foreground. The farer you go the less detailed the picture should be

Ooooh I love tutorials, usually them really are very useful for me~ And I like how this one has been done and you're style to draw grass and I think I'm maybe gonna use that style in some picture
