Description
Ross was a cute lil kid. A shame he turned out to be a big tall scumbag.
Even if he was lonely and ignored, he was by no means maltreated or neglected. As you can see, with his long coat and gaiters, little Rudolphus (or Rudi, as he was sometimes called) was outfitted well for the cold winter weather. He ate good food that was neither too rich or too bland, and received a top-notch education at the hands of many tutors. His clothing was always immaculate, and he was provided with a good many toys, many of which were state of the art (automaton dolls, cap guns, et cetera). He was showered in allowance, candy and books, took day trips to many places with his nanny and his tutors, was permitted to wander about and adventure on his own, and attended family reunions and vacations religiously.
The only thing he lacked, really, was love, and parents who would give him the time of day.

The background is a snippet of a photo from a site that archives past photography. There was no author to credit, but it's from the 1910's and there were two children on a bike just off where i cut the road off. I assume it was some kind of candid family photo.
