Did this in an art class, took around 5 or 6 hours. This is the first still life picture I have done, but it was fun
I focused mainly on the bottle and the shell, while leaving the rest less detailed. I am suprised at how much quality was lost from the drawing when I took a picture of it with my digital camera, oh well.I used a mechanical pencil for the initial sketch and an ebony pencil for the rest.

You can tell the bottle got the most shading. I also think it's shadow on the ground is very well done. Very nice picture.

Yea, the bottle was a pain, but it finally started to take shape as I put the highlights on it...and of course the shadow helped to bring it out as well.
