AUUGH. I got a mad urge to do this picture, so I sat down and did it today. ALL AT ONCE. I think my finger's gonna fall off. Anyway...LINK!! HE COME TO TOWN!! XD
I worship Link. I was in love with him before I knew what anime was. That was like, 6th grade. Hahah, that was even before I had my first crush on a real live boy XD And now that I've played the FF games and such...Link is STILL the most badass game hero ever. HA! When the new GC Zelda game comes out, I think I'm going to die with joy *_* He's going to be adult Link the whole time, HIGH POLY!!! *swoon*
Er, what? Oh yeah, the art @_@ I drew it all in Painter, so if perspective is off or whatever...I don't care. It's LINK~~!
And that room is actually a room in the Forest Temple, as best as I can remember it. Yes I am *that* much of a nerd.Link is Β©Nintendo

Just wanted to look through that journal again, and saw this picture. Why isn't it in my favorites? *fixes that* Yes, it was the first one in that entire journal I actually stopped at, and clicked on, because I just love his face in this picture. I love this whole picture, but his face is just especially nice to look at. You have a really lovely style. It's old? Pff. I don't care. I read your comments and I see you poured a lot of passion into this piece all at once in a fury. Maybe that just still shines through.

That looks amazing! I really like how you drew the background--it looks like he's really dangling from the wall of the Forest Temple. The vines all over the walls look so real! And I love Link's look of concentration as he decides on where to drop that bomb. He looks so handsome! I like how you drew his foot and Hookshot arm in perspective.

Same here only he was my crush when I was like... 6 years old (some ridiculous age like that) and still is. Man, I wish I could draw (or had any other artistic ability) so BADLY!!! I would draw so many Link, Zelda, Midna, Navi, Tatl, etc. pictures it would make everyone else SICK!!!

New legend of zelda game- Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword
Uses WiiMotion plus, like enemies can block and you have to actually swing at exposed parts. Bunch of new toys (Beetle claw? Sticky rope?) and a new story of course!

Agreed. Link is the most badass character ever. No-one else can fight his way through countless bosses, solve outrageous puzzles, suffer through water temples (OH GOD!), and constantly save the same princess.
And is it just me, or was LoZ games just terrifying as a little kid?

I remember being terrified of the brown zombie monsters in the main town when you go there as grown-up Link o_o Creeeeepy. And the graveyard part? Yeah. That wasn't cheery. XD

You get a ton of points for the perspective and for being able to portray Forest Temple accurately from such an angle. It fits the screwed up dungeon perfectly - with its twisting corridors and insane music. Not to mention the drawing and shading themselves are wonderful.
Also, your story of crushing on Link since early childhood would be heartwarming...if not shared by thousands of his fangirls, including yours truly. Way to shape this love into amazing artwork, though!

yes Link is badass. favorite game series of all time. It has everything I love in them, fantasy setting, magic, babes, explosions. I love that you chose the forest temple and that you made Link like a ninja with the hookshot and bomb in hand. awesome.

I recunized the dungeon in the pic immediatly, I've been through there soooo many times.... The hardest part of Ocarina Of Time is definatly fighting Shadow Link.... Rrrg....
