I haven't even seen the musical yet, and yet I can't help but love this couple. I mean, look at them! They're just adorable!

I got around to seeing the original musical (actually I've watched it several times since I commented on this), but I've yet to see the remake. Not sure if I want to, actually; I mean, you really can't replaceΒ Shinya andΒ Taisuke as Alan and Eric. Those two just really brought the characters to life, in my opinion. No matter how many times I watch the musical, I can't keep from crying at the scene where they die.
I agree; I really think they can't top the original.
