With their commander being held prisoner, and with their arch-nemesis abroad and increasing in power, the women of the Micronauts unit are called on to deal with the Fearsome Five- a ghoulish group of five legacy evils from the Otherworld's past. "Code Major" itself refers to the new operation to neutralize the first of the five, Rhodala Whiteheart.

400 years before present day, Rhodala Whiteheart was Kybabi soldier of fortune who fought the Shiqaw in the epic war that would bring Kybar to the Shiqaw Empire as a protectorate. She was a fierce killer who would and now once again has locals kidnapped and brought to her family's ancient residence. There the local is either slaughtered or held for ransom, part of which would be funneled to the Empress of Giants as tribute.

The situation is made worse when a young Human pop star living in the Light Kingdom, Theodora Andersen, is held as prisoner in the fortress for an exuberant ransom. Not long after, the Queen of the Light Kingdom seemingly vanishes, speculating that she too has been captured by Whiteheart.

It's the first true major assignment given to the Micronauts at the highest security alert level.
