Description
Inspired by the "Expressions of Vader" image, I decided to do a take involving the volatile Bad Cop/Good Cop. I am very excited for The Lego Movie.Bad Cop/Good Cop Β© Lego
In light of seeing the film, I am aware now about the significance of the character's marker-drawn face. At the time of this image, I had assumed it was a crude reminder of the Good Cop side as it was destroyed to make Bad Cop more obedient. But honestly, I don't feel like changing it. And in a weird way, if you consider the revelation of the film, "obedient" sorta makes sense anyway.

This cop has a multiple personality disorder! Which is why he is effective at police interrogation!

Yeah, I know it's inaccurate. I made this pic before I saw the movie and understood the context. But it's too late to change it now.

So far, I've seen the blind bags at Target and Toys R Us. But both Emmet and Bad Cop (with the original Good Cop face) come in this one $29.99 set that comes with Bad Cop's flying police cruiser. That set should be available about anywhere.

It's based on the reverse of the blind bag minifigure. According to what I've learned, it's from President Business using something to literally erase the Good Cop half (by literally removing Good Cop's face) to make Bad Cop a more fierce enforcer.

Mind control basically.

Less mind control and more like eliminating your conscience/good side so you'll be less likely to refuse any orders of kidnapping and murder put before you. But, considering how these movies generally go, Good Cop may not be gone for good. We'll just have to see.

Oh, I bet.
Have you heard Avicii's "Wake Me Up"? It's featured in the trailers for The Lego Movie and has become widely heard enough that I thought I might ask. It's a great song, definitely fitting of the film. I listened to it as I finished up this piece.

The music video was nice, but I prefer just the song by itself. Which was oddly hard to find at first since I kept coming across only covers of the song for the longest time.

Oh God. About 90% of what I found on YouTube were "karaoke" versions. Fortunately, I found a post with the original. Good stuff.

Indeed it is.
So, any favorites from what you've seen of the film so far? Mine include Wyldstyle, Uni-Kitty, and Bad Cop/Good Cop. And Batman, of course.
