Funny thing. Whenever I see Dusty brought up, it's usually to either demonize her as a recolor of Aleu, or some (potentially nasty) shipping situation of her with Kodi or Ralph. As a character, she was alright, just like Ralph and Kirby. And she has a nice design, regardless.Dusty Β© Universal

I at first thought she was Aleu when I first saw it, but was like "Wait... her voice is different, and she's wearing a sled dog collar." When her name was revealed, I was still like "She still looks like Aleu." It wasn't until I got Wings of Change on DVD 9 or 10 years after my first viewing that I was finally able to notice some more differences, such as her eyes being purple-ish instead of light blue and her pelt being darker. I kind of shipped her with Kodi as a kid, but after re-watching the scene where she's playing with Ralph on the beach I think Ralph's a better fit for her (especially now that I ship my OC Brook with Kodi

I thought of the same thing when I 1st saw 'Balto 3: Wings of Change.'

I thought so too but just a little shorter as in height-wise and there is no yellow/gold in her eyes.Β
I think she is cool, though.Β
ToΒ me she seems like she has a little Wolf in her, though, it is more the way she acts rather than her looks.

a little trivia (or theory) it seems balto's original concept art was tweeked and reused Β as a bakcground dog but also became aleu and kodi
