Axl01 has a point. Each of those girls is head-over-heels for Marisa. She doesn't need mind control. They'd do anything for her if asked (dear Kanako, let's not think about what could happen if Marisa used Flan as the living weapon she is).

Or worse, Patchy, Alice, and Reimu super-charging Marisa like they do in Touhou Soccer. Dear Suwako, the Master Spark resulting from THAT power-up could possibly scratch Yukari.

Granted she'd freaking heal or a failsafe would kick in and save her, but that has the best potential to punch through her normal Deus ex Machina shields.

But like I said, Yukari's Batman taken to extremes. She probably has about a dozen or so failsafes that will prevent her from being killed, and a few boobytraps that are set off by those failsafes. You can win tons of battles, but go to war with Yukari Yakumo and you will LOSE. Full stop.

Yukari lost that fight on purpose to make sure no youkai tried to do something as stupid as fight with another world. Plus it's very possible that she used the war to wipe out some youkai who knew her a little too well but were much squishier than she was. It's generally accepted she basically jobbed that fight intentionally. The reason why is what's up for debate.
