Rosie takes a bit of a sour turn after being forced to join the Vindicators. There is no where in hell that she will be separated from Frannie and Amadeus if she has anything to say about it, but that doesn't mean she can't scowl at the Vindicators and their ways. At least for a little. Because... Rosie begins to see the world through their eyes relatively fast. She's always been a compassionate and emphatic person, and the more stories the hears form ex slaves, the more she feels disgusted by the way of her once-herd. Her path to the Vindicators may have been a wibbly wobbly one, but she is beginning to be thankful for it all. The scales have dropped from her eyes and she sees clearly for the first time. And that clarity demands a sacrifice.

Rosie was branded by a vengeful ex-slave, at least that is what she has pieced together. Coming home late one night she was attacked and scarred, left to wobble back to safety, her assailant never caught. With so much change in her life, the scar on her shoulder is a physical marker of her past and she detests it! It marks weakness, a mare that would dare to fight back, a weakling. Rosie is so much more now! She's learned to trust in herself, she can handle her quarter staff rather well, and on top of it all her Blessing has grown immensely.

It would have been easy to just heal the scar, she'd already 'resurrected' her ground down horns, but Rosie needed something aggressive. In order to heal from her attack, she needed to carve the mark from her body and then heal the wound. It was the only way to truly feel like she finally shook off the snare of her attacker.
