I'm satisfied with the lines but not so satisfied with the coloring and background.

You've probably wanted a darker tone and a more detailed background, but I can assure you that it works like this just as well! You have to remember the gloominess and confusion that usually seems to set the tone of the show and also follows the dude man up there threw it starts to let up as everything progresses towards the end! Then suddenly everything becomes a bit clearer, and although not cheerful per say the mood seems to lean towards a more optimistic one, and justifiably so due to the well written story! All of this blibber blabber that I am typing right now is reflected up there in your work, far better then any words would do it justice! In fact this is one of the best Vincent portraits that I've seen, If not the best! Everyone else seems to just simply avoid the style of the show itself and instead they seem to lean towards a more cliched style! I think it's because It's hard or something! But then again how would I know, I am not an artist!
Again, give yourself some credit for this one! It is deserving to say the least!

Yep he does. Tetsuo is actually my favorite in Akira movie.
Maybe the effort to draw cool-Vince was subconsciously effected.
