You know, I FAIL at deadlines 8I SO MUCH FOR MY WEEKLY COMIC UPDATES!But yeah, there's this game called Minecraft that's getting a lot of talk lately so I thought I'd try it out. Basically the game generates a random environment for you to survive in by crafting items, shelters and all that good stuff. The graphics are simple blocks but the fun gameplay makes up for it.
I'm too poor to afford the real version so I played the free (legal) version on their website which is essentially the equivalent of being given an infinite amount of virtual lego blocks to play with. I effin love legos. Therefore I effin' loved playing this.
But yeah, after a few days of playing I stared to notice a pattern in my gameplay. Do some completely awesome stuff...then flood the game with water. Or lava. Mostly water. Every. Freakin. Time.
Yup.
I'm sure if I bought the game this would be no different.

Actually, the full version's physics are cooler. Why? Play Creative, find an NPC village, then cover every house in water. How ya gonna get in your house now?! XD

Hah, well back when I did this no villages existed yet. Lucky them, I was over my 'FLOOD THE WORLD WITH WATER' phase by the time I bought the game and they were introduced. Although I still love including water in everything I build.
Now the phase is BUILD EVERYTHING WAY OVER THE GROUND. SKY ISLANDS. CLIFF HOMES. AW YEAH.

Perhaps. Maybe you should start out building a piece of land high up before you flood the world.

It's much harder to flood the world in Beta cause water works very differently.
And apparently the sponge block absorbs water.

I wouldn't be surprised if there was but as of now the only one I know of is the one their site offers to lure people in ; P it just limits you to building homes, digging, exploring...and I guess flooding things if you so choose. [link]

I keep deleting and making new worlds. From each, I learn something new.
