Description My monochromatic study for my 3d art class. Only colors used were blue, black, and white acrylic.

I've never seriously touched paints before this so...I'm well aware that my technique is sloppy and inadequate.

My professor already told me the shading is wrong and should be more crescent moon like and that my technique needs practice. Also, despite purchasing Liquitex like she asked I apparently bought the wrong...kind of Liquitex. There went $60 down the drain...

I guess I'll post my future attempts at this as I need to make it perfect for portfolio...

Bro this was amazing I tried this, with PENCILS, and I failed. My art teacher looks up to you. So don't let life ruin your spark. Face book me some time the name is Christian Silvernagel .

Oh goodness, it'd be rather difficult to do this with pencils. I applaud you for doing it! 

This is actually an old version of my monochrome. It's not very blended. I have a newer one after I took some painting lessons where I was able to better blend the shading.
