Roffles... If you don't get the last part of the title - its because ! and ? are no allowed for titles. Which makes sense for anyone who has done any kinda data entry for a database on a site...So its really "Trace too?!"

Gender bending has recently become more fun for me to draw for whatever reason. Any excuse to draw move boobs. "Et Tu Brute?" it latin for "And you Brutus?" or something to that effect- here it more or less means Flora feels betrayed by Trace (or Tracy? roffles) since as a girl... her breasts are bigger...
I dont think ive ever had any real breast grabbing in any of my pictures before... its interesting XD

Et Tu Brute = basically Same To You Brutus. Latin is a Jerk... They're the words Julius Caesar is said to have uttered to Brutus, someone he trusted, as he lay dying due to betrayal by that person. Curses. They have always been muttered in people's dying breaths.

It is not Italian, it is Latin and its a famous quote from Shakespeare's Caesar. I'd love to make a joke and say you should pay more attention to literature class than Italian but lets face it, classic literature probably hasn't been a focus in schools these days... Also I'm not a jerk so I said the joke while saying im not going to because I'm sure you probably just haven't had that class yet or your school doesn't teach it.

It's a famous line from Shakespeare's play on the fall of Caesar. The original latin line is ""Et Tu, Brute?" - Which basically means "And you, Brutus?" but in this case its "And you, Trace?" - its a famous line used to express betrayal. . . . I can't believe I actually had to explain that- its right up there with "To be, or not to be-".

XD its not that you dont speak Latin- it's just such a famous line. Then again, I don't know how old you are so it's totally possible you haven't heard it yet, or maybe your school system when you were in it or if you are still in it didn't have it as required reading or in world history. I'm not trying to insult you by saying "haha- i can't believe you dont know that!" its just im surprised because it is so famous I never thought I would meet someone that wouldn't know it and im kinda curious how it's possible.

**reads a littel further down...** well, i can tell you for certain it isn't french. why? because i speak it myself of course! now, latin i'm not as sure about... but it sounds about right.
although i can understnd any confusion, the two sound a little bit similar because french, along with spainish and many others, are all latin based languages to begin with
in fact part of the reason why latin is no longer spoken is because of how it "evolved" into several new different languages at some point in the past.

"tu" can't be used here, you must use "toi" instead
and Brutus is still Brutus in french

Uh... That is Latin up there. I take Latin, and there is not a word spelled "toi" that I know of, and definitely not one to replace "tu"

I'm pretty sure the line is Latin, not French, and every English version I've seen preserves the Latin as "Et Tu, Brute?", from text book to collections of Shakespeare and even Wikipedia.

you seem right, after a little research, it look like this line is used in english, i'm more used to "Tu quoque mi fili" wich is the line we use in french for this Caesar quote.

I understand how it could look wrong, heck, even going from English (America) and English (UK) there are some weird differences like Colour/Color and Armour/Armor so for someone else used to a totally different language would see it as such. But I'm an American so it doesn't make sense for me to put anything in French unless it was supposed to be French.

They would get very confused, for one. As far as I know, Keith is the only one who knows that Natani is female (aside from that Basitin doctor, but they don't really count). If Natani got gender-bended, and everyone would be all, "What the heck? Natani got gender-bended, but he's still a guy?" And they they'd realize that Natani is a girl! Ah, that would suck for her.
