This one was based on a head cannon idea I had of the First Hero from the Hyrule Historia Manga. This is the original tumblr post, please for the love of all that is holy use this and don't reupload my art.Related content

Very well made.Β However, I doubt the Master Sword is even capable of harming the Hero, considering what it is.Β I do know it canonically can literally not be touched by evil, so Demise and his minions/followers wouldn't have been able to use it against Link.

Fair, but he IS the literal Lord of Demons, who are pretty much inherently bad, and harmed by the Light of the Master Sword (as creatures of Darkness)

No it does not.Β
The first Link died fromΒ exhaustion after beating demise (he was in prison 4 years, I assume torture its part of it) and after saving Hyrule he made the choose to stay behind to make sure all "left" survives followed Β the floating island.
However God hylia have kept an eye on Link,Β (she say in the book, she had too make him go through the years in prison)
She liked him so much but she could not save his life, So she made his "soul, fighting sprit" be reborn at times when hyrule was in danger and her own spirit as Zelda. So they could be together and he could help the world he loved. Β
Also DemiseΒ΄s hate would be reborn as well. (he tals about this at the end of Skyward Sword)

This is absolutely amazing! When I look at this, I see it as an everlasting bond between Link and his duty as a hero...but...in such a sad way...oh dear ;_;

This looks amazing! It's sad, yes, but at the same time its overall design and colors make it a piece worth seeing!!!
But is the sword plunged through him or next to him? I can't tell...

It's plunged through him. It was a tough call while working on it to include blood or not, but when I did it drew the eye away from the glow of the piece and didn't help the overall flow any, if anything it broke it up so I left it out.

You are very welcome! I love seeing great art, and well, if it's something I love, even more points. I haven't actually played much LoZ in years, never finished Twilight Princess and hadn't done much since that (OoT though, I played over and over....yea) but I wonder how much Link would want it to end once the opportunity actually came. Would he take the chance, and if so, what would it mean for Hyrule? Thank you for responding to my comment as well.

I can't even fathom how many times I've replayed OoT, I'm in the middle of another play through right now in fact. I replay most of the games but OoT is like my drug basically, I can't go without it.

The Crusader of Centy. (Sega Genesis) - in the story I wrote, a High Priest performs an exorcism on Link and Shadow Link comes out of him and starts attacking the guards in the temple and starts pushing over the temple statues and attacking the Worshippers after running the Priest through. Corona kills Shadow Link and find Link out cold in the cell.
