This is a pencil drawing that I did of Abraham from the bible. He’s holding his son Isaac. I wanted to portray the joy that I imagine Abraham must have experienced at the birth of his miraculous son. Can you imagine how it must have felt when he was told by the Lord,”In thy seed shall all the kindreds of the earth be blessed.”? -1 Nephi 15:18 What an amazing promise.Related content

I think that's one thing that helped him even attempt the sacrifice of his son. I noticed that he kept that attitude that many nations would come through his son, if he killed him, God would just give him back anyway. Abraham remembered and trusted in the promise. And because Abraham was wiling to give his only son, God in turn gave his only Son
