You all enjoyed my RaoulXChristine fan art I thought I'd give a little love to the other half. There's an explaination for this, but it's kind of impossible to explain and not really possible within any context. So just enjoy it as a stand alone!PS- Erik's blushing, not wearing makup. I'm testing out a new skin coloring method, thoughts?

The storybehind this is that she came back for him? Why did you use Christine from the book and the Phantom from the 2004 movie?

Not exactly, the idea is that this would take place before her big premiere at the Opera House. And to make that make sense, he would have had to have had a relationship similiar to the Charles Dance Phantom version, where Erik and Christine meet "face to mask (so to speak)" regularly. I imagined that Christine had a bad day with the other dancer's or Carlotta was being a bitch or something and she needed a comforting hug and she willingly picked Erik. There's nothing overly romantic about this interaction, at least not for Christine.
I really like the idea of Christine as a blonde and I would have had a full faced mask for Erik, but I wanted to see him blush, so I gave him the ALW mask.
So, it doesn't really fit the ALW version, but it's just the story I had to use to make it make sense to me. Hope this makes sense to you too!
