Concept
Well, this is something that I've been working on for the past 2 weeks.
Ever since I've played video games, I've always wanted to make a few myself. With the rise of indie(independent) games, most notably freeware and open-source ones, the world of game design and development has become a great hobby for a big number of people. Minimalistic platformers/jump'n'runs/adventures/action arcades/puzzles/space invaders and pong clones are my favourite genres of such games and here I've tried to implement some of my simple ideas inspired by them.
So, this is just an early WIP concept art of a black&white puzzle/space invaders-like game with a crisp stickman for a protagonist. Some graphics(the spaceship vol1 frame and the rpg-chars frame) are from www.favicon.cc favicons(credits given in the animation).

I may animate the in-game frames and make some short gameplay animations from them.
The main guy and the black spaceships (excluding some of the Space Invaders sprites) are my original works.

P.S. Feel free to enjoy, download, fave, modify and comment. If someone can help me make a smooth gameplay animation, it'll be great and I'll be sure to give him proper credit for doing so.

Game recommendation: If you like good old school platformers, try Pekka Kana 2, it's one of my all-time favourites - [link] .
