I personally never understood why people ship Mr. L with anyone (especially Luigi). Like, he's just a brainwashed Luigi, he isn't even his own character lmao

True, but he can still have romantic feelings for others. The way I see it, Mr. L is what Luigi would be like if he had higher self esteem and confidence. So, if Luigi had a crush on someone (like Daisy), L wouldn't be afraid to show it. Does that make sense?
