I swear to god this was a pose and anatomy study.I SWEAR.
Although I did enjoy drawing this one... a lot. I like to imagine Ladybug is watching this, and he's stretching just so for her benefit.

When I say Miraculous is more than just a kids show, I mean that there are details, jokes, and just things in the show that make it so much more that a silly children’s show. on the surface the show looks shallow, and the episodes are self contained, but if you really look into the show, and the writing and the characters, there is so much heart, detail, and consideration poured into it. I mean even the main character, Adrien, suffers from real psychological issue, due to being isolated most of his life. (They don’t delve too deep into it, and it’s only briefly touched upon, because it is a kids show after all, but the fact remains that the writers actually thought to include something like that for their main character. And there are many more deeper things like that scattered throughout the show.)
that aside. Thanks so much for the compliment, I’ve been practicing a lot with anatomy, and trying my hardest to improve. It’s kinda difficult at times. I used a combination of male and female references from an anatomy book my friend owned, when I drew this piece. And I also had to have my best friend pose for some of it. Kudos for her being able to hold the pose while I was drawing.

I actually watch the first season, although it make me scream internally a lot. I know there are elements that try to be more mature or serious and i highly appreciate that, but it all perish in the silliness and childishness approach they choose to deliver it. Even when they try to mix the mature context into they treat the watcher as an idiot. (I can understand when creators simplify complicated matters for kids to better understand, but there is a desert between showing something in a simple way and treat the kid as an idiot. Kids are not stupid! >.< They like challenges and understand more than one adult may think they do.)
I don't enjoy this show as much as i probably should since my mind is constantly focus on the dolefulness i feel while looking at the show that have such big potential and doing such a poor job with executing interesting metters.
You say it Yourself - Adrien is an intriguing character, in my opinion much better created than Marinette. He definitely have issues, as a viewer You can not only see it, but also feel his isolation and emotions, i also really like that after transformation he does change. His inner personality takes over, he is more courage, more expressive. The contrast between Adrien and Chat is defined, but like You mention, they didn't really explore that topic or any other interesting ones which is sad and so unsatisfying.
In my eyes, as much as they tried, Miraculous remain as an another dimly copy of Sailor Moon. It contains all the stereotypical aspects of high school drama and magical girl anime. Also maybe it's just me and my interrogatory nature, but this show have more negative messages than positive morals.
Apart from my acceptance of the show i really enjoy the Fanarts! They are Amazing! I may not be a Ladybug fan, but i am fan of creative souls (Like You! ^u^~ ) who expand the world of this show and make it more deep, more colorful, more realistic and yes, also more funny! ^w^~

Yeah that one's my favorite too~ haha, it looks like a pose he would actually do in the show. lol I'm still debating as to whether or not I'll actually post it and not just to my sta.sh but I know myself well enough that as soon as Kes gets online and starts her rant about the picture... it'll go up. //sigh// I have little to no willpower to fight her anymore. lol yesterday she sent me an entire page of nothing but #StripperNoir repeated over and over and over... then this happened. I think she's using some sort of mind trick on me...
