By popular vote i'm naming this Derpception. This was a commission i was paid to draw. So DO NOT use without permission.Derpy Cloud fighting Derpy Sephiroth, while Derpy Aerith watches from afar. This takes place in Aerith's church. And yes that is a cart full of Muffins.
I drew this with pencil first, and then colored it with colored pencil. There is some charcoal in the back ground. Might clean this up a bit more later. Right now I am royally tired.

Thanks for the critique. And you gave me a lot of helpful tips. I actually took a drawing class but as ironic as it sounds I got sick when they were properly teaching horizon lines and etc. And when i got back i was so lost and confused i wanted to cry. But they ended up moving on so i never really got to get a good grasp on that. I'm also a terrible architect so i have trouble with buildings like these and often just try to bluff it.
The techniques and tips you gave me sound very helpful and i will try to put them to good use. Thanks.
Also the pew on the right is purposefully at an odd angle, it was indeed torn up. And its broken. as are many things in that church including the ceiling.

Yes i suppose the battle could use more pizazz. If i had more room I prolly would have made Cloud Derpy be standing on his/her back legs. But i did try my hand at the depth and dynamics, and I really like the result.

Although I'm not sure I get the reference I am blown away by the detail you were able to achieve in this picture! The texture of the wood floors, the shine on the black clothing! It's all so well done! I struggling to find any fault in this picture, other than my lack of understanding the context of it. But that's of no fault of yours. The texture of the crumbled pillar on the ground is so well done, would've been cool to see the walls done the same way. But the contrast I think helps bring attention to the main focus of the picture and makes for a less distracting background. To sum it all up, very very well done!

I would have loved to do crumbling texture on the walls. But my interior design skills and architecture knowledge is limited. It would have looked even more fake then it already does. And it would have retracted from the detail i put into everything else. Also i am REALLY tired, i stayed up all night working on this. Thanks for the awesome critique. I love it. :huggles:

Yeah the more I thought about it, the more I found that if the background had any additional detail it would end up distracting me. The picture as a whole was very direct and helped keep the focal point, well, the focal point. There were a few Easter eggs here and there, but I never felt distracted. It flowed very well.

well, I've been drawing since I was, well, since i was old enough to pick up crayons and markers. I've been drawing all my life. And several years back, My great aunt who is an excellent artist, she taught me how to use colored pencils. But she isn't around now. And i didn't have a chance to learn all her techniques. So the rest i learned through practice.
I'm not much for digital work. It's pretty, but i can't afford all the fancy stuff needed to do it. I just stick with plain old pencil and paper. ^w^ And lots of practice.
I still have a lot to improve on. My architecture skills are quite lacking.
