Description
probably my last design for awhile. paint studio crashed midway and I forgot to save when I was almost done so it really wrecked me.
since I was still working on his design along the way as I lineart and color.
I honestly wanted to make a third one to complete the "holy trinity" of both a sonic team and life occupying water, earth, and now air.
I'm pretty alright with the design overall, but there's some things here and there that could be improved.
to be honest, when I started his design I just had a focus on a flying character. I didn't want an insect and there aren't many mammals that were pretty interesting so I just went with a bird.

I also knew I wanted to have a cape and shoulder pads involve for both flight and to have a nice look to him.
he probably looks feminine due to the fact I drew inspiration from famous "pretty boys" of early animes. It felt right when I started to draw the outfit.
also I'm not used to designing male characters, which is sad. heh.

I wanted to work with a bright palette like my previous two, but it wasn't working out. but I kinda like the fact he's dull down.

anyways, I've rambled long enough I'll just post a quick bio of this feller:

Name: Oillet (ou-yey) the Hummingbird (bonus; "Oillet" is a play-on words for "œillet", when translated from french, it's "Carnation")
Age: 22
Ability: flight (cape helps boost how long he can stay in air)

Weapon(s): uses poisoned carnations, has a custom sabre.
Likes: harps, rose pudding, milkshakes, gold, carnations, skiing, singing, capes, fencing
Dislikes: vehicles, seafood, classic and modern rock, shoelaces, sour candy
