Come spring, the X-Students put away their wool uniforms and break out the cotton and linen. For the guys, they trade their blazers for short-sleeved shirts and khakis. For the girls, it's what Alison is wearing. The color goes from navy blue wool to an almost white blue cotton. The colors and cuffs are also lighter in tone. The skirt replaces the standard X-Tartan with a sky blue one. Some are also a bit shorter for the girls who want them. Only the neck ties and neckerchiefs stay the same.What isn't standard is Alison's footwear - Only she has sky blue "Chuck Xaviers" roller-skates.

Knowing her personality, I would guess Alison opted for the shorter skirt.

ALISON: Of course I went for the shorter skirt even if The Judge doesn't like it because Hank seems to like it and I've definitely got the legs for it unlike Jubilee who's actually kinda skinny which is alot different than say how Anna-Marie looks with her buffed and toned legs and when I tell her that she says "Dang, Ali! Can y'all take a breath so that Ah can get a word in edgewise" but as a Singer I've got to be able to get alot of talking done in one (inhales) breath.

Seriously, from the look to the personality and mannerisms (like her ongoing motormouth), your Dazzler is my favorite Dazzler of all time.

I suspect that, while she gets her looks from her mom, she gets her verbal abilities from her father...
CARTER: I don't know why people are always saying that I don't know when to stop talking as if I were as bad about it as Alison, who, buy the way, can rattle off about 200 words a minute and I'm not nearly that extreme and even if I were it's a well-regarded tactic in jurisprudence to not let your opponent get a word in edgewise thereby denying him the filed of battle but when I try to explain this Catherine, Alison's mother, she has the nerve to tell me to "SHUT UP FOR like 5 SECONDS!" which causes Alison and even Lois to giggle uncontrollably.
Luckily, between her wandering mom and her stern father Alison is a pretty well adjusted girl (though Lois is a complete basket-case.)
