Mary Anne was not very happy. Her team, Kansas State, had been eliminated from the tournament and, as usual, a certain Superhero had shown up to gloat and make her wear that god-awful shirt.

"You do this to me EVERY year, Clark!" she complained. "I should've never made that bet with you when we were in 4-H back in Kansas!"

"No, you SHOULD'VE made the bet on football, Miss Summers." Superman replied. "Besides, why are you complaining? You've managed to find an actual fountain of youth on this island. Why do you think you haven't aged a days since you got here? And who is it that keeps bringing you supplies?"

"I'd rather you got us off of the island!" she responded.

"You know I can't do that. I have to keep my identity a secret."

"Where's Batman when you need him?"

"You know where - in the Batcave. He's afraid either the Professor will blab that he's Bruce Wayne or that he can aquire Howell Enterprises if they are declared dead."

"And Aquaman?"

"Who do you think stranded you here? He owes the Skipper on a bet and this keeps him from collecting."

"And what did Gilligan do?"

"That? Nightwing just doesn't like him. Well, I'll be back in a couple of months with more provisions. Farewell." and with that, Superman took off back for Metropolis. Ginger walked up next to Mary Anne as they watched him depart.

"You didn't try very hard to convince him to rescue us." Ginger said. "How is it that all of YOU have managed to get on the bad side of a Superhero?"

"Says the girl who tried to upstage Zatanna."

Figured now was as good as time as any to put two fictional Kansas farmkids in an image together.
