Working on some "re-occurring" characters for ST:TMV

This is T'Vale Lyras, mother of the Arc's Science officer Selin. T'Vale is the keeper of a botanical that houses some specimens from Vulcan as well as other Federation (and a few Non-Federation) worlds, each in their own habitat domes (going straight from the Vulcan to Andorian habitats is not recommended)

To humans, T'Vale looks to be Selin's older sister, but she is in fact about 57 years old (still fairly young for a Vulcan). Practicing the same philosophy as her daughter (and the rest of the village), T'Vale has a sense of humor most find quirky, which is probably why she gets along with Selin's paramour (Lt Cdr Price) so well.

T'Vale is married to one of Vulcan's few traditional Lirpa crafters, Stalr Lyras. They have a second, younger daughter named T'Preas.
