Description
I just got done with reading Flowers in the Attic by V.C. Andrews a few weeks ago, and wow I did not expect to like it as much as I did. It isn't in a genre that I usually like, so I wasn't expecting much (And because of what the book, er, contains, I was rather nervous). When I finished the book I knew I wanted to do an SSMU Doll of Cathy. I imagine that in this she has only recently come to Foxworth Hall, but she has been given the dress from her mother. The dress itself has gone through several different colors, specifically yellow, pink, and light blue (Looked way too 'Alice' for me). I thought this particular shade of yellow was perfect for her.
If I get around to reading Petals on the Wind, I'll do one for Cathy in that. As for teen Cathy later on in FITA, I've got some artist's block on that.

Wow, I actually remember seeing the movie when I was little....It was SO sad, especially when the brother died.
And the mom was disgusting, even more than the grandma. The mom raised them, then just abandons them for a new life so she can inherit her dad's money. At least with the grandma, they never knew her before so they had no connection to her like with the mom.
But I guess it was understandable, she originally did it for her kids but then got corrupted by the grandma along the way due to beatings and such. Plus, I don't see her marrying the uncle as a 'bad' thing as it brought those 4 into the world and all 6 of them had a good life before the dad died.
I really do like the doll though btw~

The mom's transformation is one of the most despicable things I've ever read. And yes, the little brother's death is extremely heartbreaking.

Nicely done! Once you've finished the Dollangangers you should totally read the Landry Series; it's my favorite of hers!

That's ok, lol. Usually I just figure it's the end of the conversation if I don't get a response!
