I've always wondered what Mrs. Brisby, heroine of the movie 'Secret of NIMH' and one of the greatest fictional mothers EVER, would look like as a human (She's a mouse).In my opinion, I think she looks quite adorable, if a bit too young for someone with four kids (Mice mating habits and lifespan be damned).

If the Brisbys were humans, wouldn't they have to be Native Americans, possibly of the Piscataway tribe, rather than white? Β Since Jonathan helped to raise the children when he was alive, it seems likely that the Brisbys were deer mice, which are native to America, and in which the male helps to raise the young.
