One of the few new pokemons that scaped the lack of criativity. I really hate all the pokemons that came from 2th season forward. They just picked up the whole zoo and added powers, just it. I loved honoguma! And your is very cute!

You don't even know what you're talking about. I could name dozens of new PokΓ©mon that aren't even based on animals, but it would take hours. Not to mention that your description applies to most of the original 151 as well.
Also, I love how you bash new PokΓ©mon for lacking creativity and then claim that you love Honoguma, who looks like a Raichu clone. You would obviously hate him if he were an official final PokΓ©mon, rather than an unused design.

Honoguma and Kurusu are a lot better than Cyndaquill and Totodile in my opinion.

How so? Honoguma looks like a fire-type Raichu clone, Kurusu look like a somewhat generic seal without features. Cyndaquil and Totodile are much better designed.

How funny is it that you posted a link to RAGECANDYBAR, and that's what just lead me to your drawing? Great job by the way.
You can't really see it in the crude official artwork. But in your rendition, I can totally see the hedgehog-ness, that would later evolve into the Cyndaquil we all know and love (if not as much as Quillava).
Though he's quite adorable, maybe even more so then Raichu, their similar appearances that probably what doomed him.

Love the site. Just got done reading the PokeGod section.
Even though I've been a fan from the very beginning, I never got swept up in the whole PokeGod thing (I cared more about raising the guys I actually had and playing Final Fantasy VIII). So I found it very interesting.
Though I remember Pikablu, and thinking how cool Nidogod & Nidogoddess would look (I should really draw them).
And oh God Yoshi.
How many times did I try to get Yoshi? I was only like 12, and EGM had screen shots, SCREEN SHOTS!!!
