One of several references on Namaka Hamou ("Sea People or Merfolks") indigenous Cultures, developed while drawing by-hobby Namaka Hamou webcomics.

I'm not expecting Namaka Hamou to be popular due to its content constraints, but just something for anyone who likes Namaka Hamou to have some fun learning the Namakan Merfolk culture and create their own Namakans.

This reference covers the basic physical differences between Namakan "Memaids" and "Mermans" As you can see, the mermaids tend to be more about their legs while the mermans tend to be more about their upper bodies and arms. Not all Namakans follow this format. The examples would be girly-mermaids and tomboys who are better at what they're doing.

Namaka Hamou webcomic series are created by myself and they can be found at www sailorenergy net (lot easier to upload AND read each chapter to it than Devianart)
