            I have NO idea what to title this. This one is lame, but oh well.

              Looking into more about the new Super Bomberman R game and watching its cutscenes again made me want to draw more Bomberman stuff. So, have some silly space robots~ Hear the wacky, cartoony music yet? www.youtube.com/watch?v=m_no_P…

            I am intrigued by Super Bomberman R and the new takes Konami has brought into the series with it. It's really cute. XD I've basically spoiled the whole story and music for the game for myself, but I love it already. In spite of that, I would still would love to actually play it sometime. I'm still, however, used to the designs and gimmicks of the earlier games by Hudson Soft ("BAI HADOSAN" -- *ahem*), since that's what I came to know as a little girl, so I still learn toward drawing them that way, as you can see. Maybe eventually, I'll draw something based on the Super Bomberman R canon, because that game and its characters are growing on me a lot.

            This drawing actually took no time to sketch at all. It's probably one of the fastest things I've sketched in a long time. The inking wasn't bad, either. The coloring, on the other hand.... Yeah, that took a while. I was really stuck on what to do for a background in this picture. At first, I was going to go with something abstract, like a circle or something. I felt I've overdone the abstract "circle in the background" look in my art, but I was going to try it anyway. Then, I got stuck on some different background ideas and couldn't settle with one I liked. I started trying to experiment, and then I finally got the idea from that to go from the initial abstract circle idea and replace it with Planet Bomber in the background and add a starry sky. 8D I had fun making the planet in the background. I felt making that was also relatively quick. But THEN, I got stuck on more variations of different little details, like the clouds and such, trying to decide which looked best. After getting that out of the way, I was left with three final variations on how the sky in the background looked, and I got stuck for days on which one to pick. I'm STILL not sure, but I had to force myself to just pick one and post it. I hate being indecisive, lol.

              Overall, aside from not being able to choose which background variant I like best for this, I like how it turned out, and I (mostly) had fun with it. XD It amuses my inner child. The nature of the artwork and the way it looks reminds me of the old Super Bomberman series from the 90's. It's kind of interesting that Konami decided to go with using that name again for the new game. It's a nice nod to the classic stuff.

            Black Bomber is one of my favorite things about this drawing, character wise. I had fun with him. He's having a hard time trying to act cool at the moment, the poor fella. Yellow just looks concerned about what's going down.

-Sketch originally drawn on paper May 18/19(?), inked with Micron and Prismacolor pens May 19, and colored with mouse in Paint Tool SAI. Finished May 29th-30th, 2018 (I guess that's when I technically finished it, even though I had it mostly finished on the 25. I don't know know what the appropriate finish date should be for this since I had so many different versions I took forever to pick to post in spite of having it basically finished, aside from that, pfffft).
