It was the night of the Christmas party, when the strange Uncle Drosselmeyer had come to visit that Ahriu was able to see something amazing. The Inventor or toy maker or clock maker, she was never quite sure anymore, had come with presents for the daughters of Kuroha family. The eldest received a beautiful castle with moving knights, dancing couples inside, graceful swimming swans, and lovely music playing. The youngest received a doll that spoke a single word and blinked it's eyes. Rue the middle child was given two nutcrackers. A tall handsome prince with white hair and a sad face, and a smaller one with dark hair and an angry face. The young lady of course fell in love with the prince and put the other side in the glass cupboard.

The party had come to a close, leaving little Ahiru left alone to clean. She did not mind, she liked the quiet moments along with the loud full of people, even though she could never be allowed to join. What she enjoyed most though was watching the younger of the three daughters, Rue. She was about the same age as her and a beautiful dancer. Her father always had her dance at parties. She noticed though that her dancing was never quite as happy as everyone who watched her.

As Ahiru looked into the large guest room with the Christmas tree, she saw the young mistress Rue dancing with her Nutcracker. Her dance was filled with more joy and love than ever she had seen. The maid could not help but watch in awe of her young mistress dance, lost in her own world with only the nutcracker she named Mytho.

So there is scene 1 of Princess Nutcracker! I'll be writing little tid bit like this for each. Making it a short story if you will.

Rue's dress is different than the first design as it is AFTER the party and the first dress was for the party. Her dress is inspired by her dark red ballet dress she wears in class... it's just longer. XP
