Once upon a time I came up with a crossover... years later I came up with a proper retelling of the well-known tale known by many.

Yyyup! It's time to give Rayman a little red hood and Mr. Dark some ears and send them on a familiar road that is called a fairytale.
While my most favourite fairytale is probably Smolíček by Božena Němcová, I still keep The Little Red Riding Hood close to my heart because I've read so many versions of it, each one having some minor differences which tried to make sense of characters' actions. So I took some inspiration from these and tried telling my own version. I know it is nothing special, but I wanted to test out one working process of comic making, as well as practicing some character personalities. Mainly the manipulative type, while the most fun, it is also one of the hardest to work with. Trust me on that one. Sometimes I don't trust Mr. Dark myself

The first part is of course introduction. Oh look, it's mama Betilla after like forever! She gives some helpful advice to our little hero, for now known as Little Red. I went for a short nickname for a reason, trust me. Anyways, he wonders how can talking to strangers be a bad thing, pretty much what most naive people would wonder. Curiosity can be dangerous indeed. So when the boy finally ventures off into the forest, we meet the second main character, outright villain - Mr. Wolf!
Through a really polite conversation we get to choose whether or not to trust Mr. Wolf. And yes, I felt the need to clarify the genders of both characters because I don't need to change Rayman's gender to match the character of Little Red Riding Hood. He can still play that role, he just doesn't need to be girlish and all that stuff little girls do. If you find it strange, consider the fact that this is a story about a parent sending their underage child into the woods.

The only new innovation I brought into this page, as well as the whole comic, is that I had pictures from each panel scattered throughout multiple papers. I used to have all of them planned out on a single page. What good does this bring to me? Well, it finally allows me to include 12+ panels instead of my usual 10 more or less. I tried to include more panels like I did with comic 10 and 11 of my RCS, even though it used to be a mess. So yeah, this is why this comic exists on the first place. I want to test out this process and see the results.
