Description this is made with a ink-pen or marker.... was tagged for it by
sorry, learned english from tv and internet -_-

i made no effort to make this a masterpiece of art but i wanted to rather show a good friend of my how i actually make my dragons. so bear with me that i say that this is how most of my sketches look like if they were more clear.
( ps, some proportions could be wrong, blame the marker )

simple dragon, with a simple waterfall-like background.

so, how do i draw a dragon?

1- Head
start with the head, a circle will do, then make 2 lines starting from 2 opposite position and draw them into a point that points out of the sircle, this will be the facing of the head. then you must make a nose, shorten the point by cutting of half *give more or less depending on your design* to make a nose, curve it slightly inwards. the eye(s) are difficult, but i like the side-way position, centerline of the circle and right above where the nose bottom connects to the head circle. put then some fancy horns on the head and your dragon head is done *horns can be positioned at your own please*

2- main body.
the main body is simple yet can get in a lot of detail, what i like to do is to let the neck of the dragon curve from the back of the head downwards into a egg-shaped body, this egg-shaped chest is thick in the front and becomes a long tail in the back. think of it like a snake with a big prey in its stomach. then you can make the chest-scales by making a line from the head all the way to somewhat 1/4th length of the tail over the entire body, then make it pointy at the end of the tail and make some lines in the form of his or her chest scales.

3- legs.
front legs are like human arms, only with a limitation to fingers.. or claws, i connect them at the top-half of the egg-shape body and just below the neck. they need to carry his chest after all, and his chest should not be supporting the rest of his weight. back legs are more tricky, but think of the legs like a dog and you will do fine, i am still learning here. put i find it best to put them just behind the egg-shape chest where the body is rather thin, behind it the tail starts and sometimes i make that part a little bit thicker indicating the tail muscles. *not done here*

4- wings
a wing mostly designed like a bat, a small arm first from above the shoulders stretching backwards, then a second arm who is longer in the opposite direction, then you can make a hand backwards, just make the fingers very long, the thumb is a small claw at the top of the hand. the wings are almost always made out of a thin skin, i bend them inwards and connect them at the our finger first, then a small distance away from the 2th furthest, this will give a illusion that the wing is folded.

5- background
background is mostly based on the pose of the dragon, making rocks to let it stand on, a small creek of water between his legs and a small waterfall behind him/her, this will give it a little character in the odd-pose i made

6- feral dragon, no pervy stuff.
a lot of people make dragons look more... adult, adding human parts to it and all, i like feral dragons like they call it, walk on all 4 legs and most of the time i do not draw there gender parts, just for the sake of "kids are watching"

please ask me for more information about this.
