Apparently, Toho is okay with us calling the creature from the animated series Godzilla Jr. as it was more like Godzilla than the one in the film. Don't know the validity as it was another deviant who told me but I call the one from the series Zilla Junior just to avoid conflict with 'Godzilla Purists'.

There's just one tiny problem - there's already a Godzilla Jr.( images3.wikia.nocookie.net/__cβ¦), the one from "Godzilla vs. Destoroyah", so the one from the animated series is in fact Zilla Jr. However, the series DID make a closer resemblance the original Godzilla much better than Emmerich's waste of film garbage.
And I call the '98 film "a waste of film" because the movie disrespected the source material, even Emmerich admitted he never liked Godzilla.

Well, the part where he said he hates Godzilla is pretty much true, and when you compare the original Gojira film with GINO (as in the title), it shows the lack of interest of the source material. Plus, Dean Devlin said Emmerich strayed away from the movies, theΒ original source material, something that you need when it comes to making adaptations.

LOL!!! LOVE IT! That made my day. But I must say the Lizard Godzilla is cool, but the movie sucked, I think. I mean, I'm more a Japanese GodzillaΒ fan.
