Name: Ishtar T'Scarre

Species: Asari (and Ardat-Yakshi)

Age: Early maiden stage (also 30 human years)

Height: 6 ft

Class: Vanguard. Bounty Hunter

Weapons: Paladin pistol cannons & a Piranha shotgun, both equipped with Cryo ammo (trophies from past bounties, modded & customised to suit her).

Biotic Powers: Biotic Charge, Pull, Nova, Reave

Heavy Melee: Biotic Deathscythe, Dark Channel Gauntlets

Other Abilities: Due to the failed reaperization process, Ishtar knows the Banshee Scream & tracking Warp. She can also change skin colour, patterns, & scalp crest. Ishtar's dark azure complexion normally reverts back to pale white in battle. Her light armour also changes shades, bought from an anonymous engineer in the blackmarket.

Origins:

Ishtar T'Scarre was born on Thessia were she lived with both her parents & younger sibling, Luna. Unfortunately they were discriminated against, since they came from pureblood parents. In Ishtars late teens the family moved to the Citadel to start a new life. Things were starting to pick up but a tragic accident left her & Luna orphaned. The siblings were adopted by their one relative who had many vices & a nasty temper. To pay off his debts they were almost sold to slavery, luckily both managed to run away. Turning up empty handed the slavers dealt with Ishtars relative.

Both Ishtar & Luna took to the life of crime & soon as young adults discovered they had the Ardat-Yakshi genetic condition. Ishtar embraced it as a gift than a curse while the quiet Luna kept it a secret. They were soon confronted by an asari Justicar, the crime ring they're in quickly collapsed. Luna was grieviously injured from the crossfire. To protect her Ishtar battled with the Justicar! The fight was fierce... Defeated, Ishtar waited to be executed but the Justicar recognized the sisters potential, sensed & understood their condition. To Ishtars surprise, the warrior offered her & Luna a choice, to die or live in exile within a Ardat-Yakshi Monastery. Luna required immediate medical attention, the choice was obvious...

The Justicar dropped off the T'Scarre sisters & went on another mission. Ishtar never asked for her name. She was planning to escape the monastery instead but couldn't leave Luna who was still recovering. She soon met the cheerful & comforting Bas'tet. Apprehensive at first Ishtar let down her defenses and a friendship was born between the two asari. Luna woke up but lost her vision, her older sister was ever vigilant. The younger T'Scarre adjusted & for a time Ishtar grew to like the peaceful life.

Then the Reaper war erupted, Thessia & its planetary system was under siege. Asari commandos helped reinforce the monastery but also planted bombs throughout the building. Before Ishtar could protest the reapers landed & made short work of the commandos. Ishtar formed a group to lead her friends & colleagues to safety. The reapers found & trapped them but her friends Falere & Rila slipped away & promised to call for help. The group soon learned the horrible truth, the beasts were there to reaperized the Ardat-Yakshi, turning them into Banshees. These abominations were sent to hunt down the remaining asari. The T'Scarre sisters, Bas'Tet, & others were transported back to the reaper starship, Gorgon.

Weeks passed, soon other prisoners joined them. They were tortured, their captors intent on breaking their will & any trace of hope. One by one Ishtars companions fell to indoctrination then reaperized. Bas'Tet, herself & Luna were strong enough to resist, for now. They soon headed to Earth, to be made into reinforcements. It was bizarre to see their old home, the Citadel, as they entered orbit. The Gorgon landed, Luna was split from Ishtar & Bas'Tet. The prisoners were transported to a temp reaper base. Alliance forces ambushed them, Lunas transport was overrun. Ishtars convoy continued on while Brutes took the offensive. Grief stricken & weakened she blacks out.

Hearing her sisters voice Ishtar suddenly wakes up... she was in the process of being reaperized! Pain surged through her whole being & as she was about to fade away - it stopped. Gathering her remaining strength Ishtar slowly broke her binds. A few metres away she found Bas'Tet, dazed. Ishtar carried her up, as they left the complex, immobile reaper forces layed everywhere. Nearing an exit Bas'Tet suddenly smashed Ishtar away. When she finally got up, to her horror, Bas'Tet gruesomely turned into a Banshee - it was too late. As the will to survive consumed her fear & exhaustion, Ishtar steeled herself to end her dear friends suffering. Banshee wails echoed the hallway...

The galaxy recovers, saved by Kaycee Shepard & her alliances. Ishtar T'Scarre became a successful & deadly bounty hunter. Rumors of the spectral 'Deathbringer' struck fear, even for the most notorious. Eventually the asari learnt about her parents 'accident' & that Luna is thankfully alive. Her only clue was the name, Tartarus. With no allegiances, Ishtar sets out to find her only family...
