Description
So, while I was doing Wonder Weapons, remembered that somewhere in the past month I had an old map of the original Dawn of Britannia, which involved a Britannian Civil War. Some of the lore evolved into the current-day DoB-verse. Other lore pieces were different, or reserved for later use. Anyways, here was what the original lore was like.

2015 a.t.b

The year the Emperor was assassinated before the occupation of Japan was complete. While Odysseus, by all accounts, has become Emperor of Britannia, that didn't mean much when the rest of the Empire jumped at the opportunity to break apart. The former Princely State of Louisiana, ran by a Bourbon remnant, attempted to re-assert their power once more, though those like Mexico and Brazil stayed somewhat loyal.

Areas 9 and 11 regained their identities as Australia and Japan, even gaining Pacific territories as the Britannian forces had to retreat, leaving behind skeleton crews who could only surrender as they were overwhelmed, even with the best technology possible.

As for the rest of the world?

The war for Russia continues on, as the Russian Republic manages to regain import territories from the tributary empire of Euro-Britannia, forcing the latter to relocate to Irkutsk. However, due to recent support from the Chinese Federation, it becomes a stalemate, with Euro-Britannia becoming a puppet.

The EU seized Greenland, using it as an outpost to keep watch on the ongoing Civil War (as well as make sure it goes on for as long as possible). Their other concern? The Middle East Federation.

Without the threat of Britannia, the Middle East turns towards much of the EU's Arab-majority regions, especially Syria and Palestine.

The Chinese Federation? Well, now they've got their eyes on two especially appealing targets: Australia and Japan. The formerly Britannian territories are well-aware of this, forming a behind-the-scenes alliance to counteract the inevitable war.

As for one Lelouch? He's no longer in Japan. His operations moved throughout the Americas, wanting to not only destroy Britannia, but to make sure it stays dead and destroyed.

That's pretty much it. It was meant to be a one- n shot and that was it. The pictures are both from Metal Gear and just generic search images.

Just for elaboration:
- Much of Asia and Africa was always meant to have extremely fucked borders.
- The gigantic state in the Sahara desert was more of a Wild-West/Wasteland kind of area, and that it was a headache.
- The Middle East Federation that would eventually become the UAE had roughly the same borders, except that Persia was included (as was in the original Code Geass map)
- If I remember correctly, even the United Turkic States had roughly the same borders minus Kazakhstan (obviously) and access to the Aral Sea.
- The Levant remained mostly unchanged, and was imported over, as was Somalia
- Also, it wasn't on most iterations of the map, but there was meant to be a weird Tonkin-Laotian republic in north Vietnam, which then became relegated as part of actual Vietnam, mainly to make more sense, and because nguyenthegokhang rightfully hated it.
- The main reason why India had less territory here than in the current TL was because at the time, I had the idea of the Maratha Confederacy still somewhat existing and the rest of India being what remains of the British colony at the time.
- This may ruffle the reeds, but Korea being independent was a last minute change, even in the current TL. Originally they always were part of the main Chinese homeland.
- Also, I realized that I forgot to label this on, but
-Princely State of Mexico (red thing encompassing the rest of Mexico and Guatemala
- Centroamerican Free State (the tan area that is currently invading Miskito Coast
- San Martin's Army (Argentina)
- Lastly, the reason for Charles' death had something to do with an as-of-yet unknown figure , who Lelouch is trying to find.

Anyways, Wonder Weapons is taking me a while cause I'm using a large map and I draw all the borders by hand. But anyways, I hope you like and stay tuned.
