I picked up the Xmen: TLS Novel ( Wayyyy better than the movie BTW) and decided to make a bookmark for it, so i used this pic of Famke Janssen As Dark Phoenix. I used gradient maps and color balncing to make it more "Phoenixy"Related content

Nice pic but it made me pissed...I did something similar but with a universal auro type thing to a pic of Famke and deviantart reprimanded me even though I mentioned the source of the pic in the comments and everything......*goes off steamed*

Ooh, goodie, someone made Famke look like a real Phoenix. I never liked how they made her skin tighten/darken and her eyes go black whenever the Phoenix came out. I'd always wondered why the heck the artists'-whatsits couldn't make her eyes flame like they did in X2. Thankee!!!!!!

was the book way different? I want to read it i just haven't gotten around to getting it yet. I know the ending of the second movie and the second novel were very different but that was the only real difference.

well maybe not way different, but it shows more of a struggle between jean and phoenix. unfournatly it does end the same, but alot of things are different in a good way

yeah, the fact that we only really saw jean and phoenix sorta fight eachother once...kinda... I think i'm going to go and get that book tomorrow ^_^ i really want to read this now.
did it start the way the movie started or did it continue where the other book left off? I guess i'll find out ^_^

no its doesn't, its like it ignores the x2 book completly, it starts off with jean and annie,
its really good, definately worth reading

does it allow phoenix to have the whole iconic-fire-raptor-phoenix-manifestaion effect? cause thats the cool part. im mad they took it out of the film
