A lazy afternoon for Saiyre and her acinyx, a large horned feline once breed for war now used for quick travel. Behind her are the floating columns of He'san, overcast by the shadows of whales that now loom the skies instead of the seas.I have been itching to paint scenes from my world and here is the first of many! Really wanted to play with light, contrast between fore and background, and mood. It was no doubt a struggle but I'm almost pleased with how it came out. Any critiques are welcomed! I would love love love to improve on this piece.
Edit:// Made small edits to the lighting on her so she doesn't look like she's really tanned.
