First off, I know that she's supposed to have curly hair, but, I can't draw curly hair...
(Does anyone have any tips for drawing curly hair?)

There's potential here.
Don't worry about putting the entire body in, these things are pretty much guaranteed to happen sometimes.
For curly hair, I like using curves as it seems to resemble curly hair the most. (Don't be afraid to experiment with different sized curves)
Looking forward to seeing what else you put out.
