This is the 6th print out of eight that were made for Arlingtoncon back in October.

The concept for this was originally drawn up several years ago [link] and given to a couple friends for playing around with.
But no one could really capture the image I had in my head.

I utterly re-did the linework and basically began attacking with colored pencils and copic markers. The whole idea was to show a contrast between Sasuke and Naruto's chakra - their higher-powered chakra, that is. Ever since I saw the violent indigo of cursed!Sasuke's energy in the anime I could only visualize how cool it would have been to see it clash against the wildfire of Naruto's Kyuubi chakra.
So in essence, this is almost a yin-yang presentation that could be intrepreted as yaoi.

Of course, I'm not rather pleased with how this turned out considering my structure of light and shadow seems weird to me. It would have been better had I a white art stick to work in a few more lighter highlights with, but no stores around here sell any.
Regardless, this was actually my second best seller behind Silken Grip: [link]
