After painting the KDA series I've been paying more attention to eye looks on characters (makeup looks). Also inspired by makeup artist i wanted to make a fun voice over tutorial on 4 different eye looks taking to account RL makeup steps on the eyes but in digital painting form ^_^ I think all four looks are pretty doable in rl as well, but its fun to translate that in painting form.

Maybe they don’t, but they know how (!) It is done, what color is needed, how it harmonizes with the complexion - I’m talking about it!

This knowledge doesn't depend of the gender, it depends only of your practice. There's a plenty of male artists that are good at drawing characters with make up, and I won't even mention that there's a plenty of male visagistes in fashion industry. I got your point though!

That is why (because of the practice) women's experience is preferable for me! Since even those make-up artists to whom you refer to still learned from women! You just have more experience with this.

The most I ever do it lipstick if ever with nail polish xD
drawing characters with eyeshadow is probably a never. I probably don’t draw it much because I don’t wear makeup myself.

Same here!
Why wasting money on makeup if we can buy some paint and pizza instead, right?
