A snipe guard is to prevent people from bidding last minute/second and winning. It adds a few minutes to last second bids to give other bidders a chance. c:

But I guess there'll really be a problem in the future since there's definitely a chance mine and the bidders' clocks will be different for some seconds ;A; And that would cause confusion :CCC

A-and is the timing strict in there as well? Because what if two people bid right before and after the snipe guard ends? Wouldn't that lead to the same problem like if the wasn't any snipe guard? *oh gods sorry for all the questions 
Is there some kind of online-clock-countdown *with seconds included* that I can share so that everyone will have the same time limit? I'll try to see if there's something like that, and if there is I'll use it in the future for the snip guards *like have my dA inbox in one window and the countdown in another window open next to it, and will refresh my dA once the clock reaches zero

Well, From what I see in auctions-The snipe guard is usually an hour.
The auctions runs for and hour after the last bid.
Lets use this as an example:
She bids at 11:01- The auction can go to 12:01, if no one bids.
If someone bids at 11:05- auction goes until 12:05 and so on.
People can also drop out of bidding wars!
Say they bid at 11:30.
Then the other person can't bid more and tell you they drop out thus letting the other win... Which usually happens, ending the auction/extra time!
It just gives people a chance to keep bidding until one drops out. I hope I'm making sense.... ; n ;
I'd say the timing is strict, but people usually drop out or just don't bid before the guard ends..

AH SO THAT'S HOW IT WORKS .0. Oh my I totally misunderstood the snipe guard's meaning at first! I thought it was just a couple extra mins, not an extension that gets refreshed every time a new bid is placed Thank you so much for explaining this with the example! Now I understood it
