I didn't have the heart to tell that person that I actually don't like Halo >_>;
this took me like 10hrs T_T and it's very messy and looks like crap :'/ I am not drawing something like this again.. ( or maybe for a long time)I mean compare this to my last 4 deviations.. yea out of place.

me, I've seen Far worse. Sure there are a few small things off. But the detail put in to each item and figure on hear more than makes up for it.

actually come to thin of it you're right.. but after working on the Hao outfit for over 10hrs I couldn't stand to do another suit of that kind.. but yea actually

I'm excited to see what that may look like. It could have some kind of explosion in the back engulfing an entire group of Metroids and Covenant forces. This is the best cross-over I've ever seen, and there's only 1 pic to go along with it!

This looks nice, very different. The only thing is her outfit is so bright compared to everything else in the pic. She stands out a little too well. But the angle is great!

yeah, it's much more detailed than all of them. if you spent this long on the rest of your pictures then maybe you'd find that they look more professional and that you would improve each time.
this pic might be 'out of place', and you mite hate halo, but its probably one of the better ones in your gallery now.

Whoa. That's the first time I've seen Samus out of her suit... then again, I've only played Metroid 2 for gameboy (and seen a tiny bit of another), and still haven't managed to beat the final boss... ^^
You did pretty good. Though room for improvement remains (as ever, oiy), some parts of the picture don't even look drawn entirely, but almost really 3D. Fantastic job, especially with something you don't like. *nodnod*

No it is the fact that everyone like it and they try and make me play it. It is that I never really liked the game as well.

To be honest, I believe the comment following mine is a bit... Rash. To be buggered into liking something is only going to make you dislike it more than you already do. And, even if you did like it, playing it non-stop is eventually going to wear out your interest very quickly. Halo as a game would be worn down to the nub if I were you, but Halo as a concept, or as a starting point for more work doesn't have to be so hard on the eyes. Despite, and I'm not trying to be stereotypical here, girls tend to have different emotional reactions to things. I, for example, could play a game and get tired of said game over time, but I'd glean from that game some indirect ideas and plot devices to use in something I write. You, however, seem to dislike it outright, no questions asked, goodbye. I understand that, though the other portion of the Video gaming community might disagree with me.

I agree, people force certain games on you too much, and now people think Halo is the best thing ever because it is fairly good ranking in its genre, for its year. I don't go for FPS's that much, so I don't care for it (Metroid is a First Person Adventure).
I play Metroid because:
1) I was raised on Nintendo.
2) Why have an affair with Halo when Metroid is going to come back to you in upcoming games, and I don't even have a Xbox to play it on?
3) I don't think I can remember going a year in my life without Samus. I know her better than some of my cousins.
On the art:
It looks great! As you might have guessed from my above writing, I like the right half better.

Metroid already seems to have had it's vengeance on the community, though it seems that that was in the form of a suicide bombing that recoiled far into the direction of actual fans with The Other M. Nevertheless, it doesn't have to mean that all Metroid games are shit just because the assholes at Ninja Team (Or whatever) decided to kill the competition. Metroid games of old had a legacy that rivaled that of Castlevania in it's early years. Kids these days beg like dogs for new sequels for a game when they hardly scratch the surface of those games already come, like LoZ: Ocarina of Time, or Crash Bandicoot.
