Here’s hopefully a better version of what I have shown before of my sort of concept for a corrupted version of Maya.
Originally I had just thought of changing her colors, such as having red wings instead of black and her hair should have been silver, but then I thought that black like ash would have been better, and then I also remembered that when she first came out, some people I’ve seen around the interenet thought her right arm was robotic, despite it being clearly a recolor of her original suit from BL2, so I had the idea of making her right arm of ashes too, which are also creeping out on her face.
She let herself go to sorrow, self-doubt and anger for having been abandoned by everyone when she died, and even though the others are trying to bring her back, she doesn’t want them too, consumed by these negative emotions, she tries to trap them in the afterlife with her instead. Her old self is trapped, locked away and taken over by this other more obscure part of her, and someone has got to save her before the Maya we know, disappears forever.
Also I am still terrible in coloring hair, don’t worry about it.
