So I drew this (as you might be able to tell by the bottom-lefthand corner), for my Tumblr specifically! I just hit my 100th post, and even though I have lots of comments and commentary on the news spreading like wildfire about the DC reboot, I reserved my 100th post for this image, because it is a combination of everything my Tumblr (and my Deviant Art) have become. Bat family and pony love.

However, from here, I'm just going to copy-paste my Tumblr post:

So in the wake of all this DC reboot shtuff, I realized that I was closing in on my hundredth post!

This is a Big Deal for me because I tend to lose interest/get shy/get passive on blogs and communities, so when I saw I was at a nice, round 100 (even though a lot of those were WIP shots of pony drawings, haha), I got kind of excited and wanted to draw something special.

SO YOU GUYS GET THIS. Steph playing with ponies while Damian tries to scoff. (He doesn’t even know how awesome ponies are.) A combination of everything my Tumblr seems to be about right now.

While working on it the last two days I’ve been so sad because of the news of Big and Little D’s split come September (MAYBE DAMIAN WILL GET BABYSAT BY DICK ALL THE TIME) and Babs coming back as Batgirl thereby endangering Cass and Steph’s very existence (MAYBE THEY’LL TEAM UP AS BLACKBAT AND DEAN TRIPPE’S AWESOME SPOILER REDESIGN AND STEAL TIM AND MOVE TO HONG KONG TO FIGHT CRIME), but there ya go.

Coloring people-lineart is something new for me and something I’m not really sure I have feelings about. It was annoying, but no more-so than coloring pony lineart. Something to consider, but probably something I won’t do horribly often.
