Don't worry, you can definitely tell he's a rabbit in this picture. ^^ And you gotta love the fluff on 'em! I love that you show the rain sliding off him so well, and the fireflies giving off the light on him is beautiful.

Thanks! C8 I actually don't really know how long my backgrounds take me, since I tend to work on the image (charrie & background) as a whole.
I can tell you, however, that it takes about the same amount of time I spend on my character ^^

this is sooo amazing jem! I love this way the rain was drawn and how the trees give it an eary feeling! thats soo awesome! and the little fireflys ( those r fireflys right?) look amazing as well! I think this is one of your best so far!

This is absolutely fantastic. I think you did a great job with this one and the colors are wonderful. The trees in the background really are good and I like how you blended the colors with the rain. Finally, I love the fireflies because that add just a little bit more warmth!!

Yeah, as I said in the artists comment, I love using warm colours and I feel like a picture isn't quite complete with a bit of warmth xDD The fireflies weren't there originally but I couldn't resist adding them x3
