So it's not mixed media it's all pencil.
i finally got a scanner and i'm testing it out for now
anywho...

this, as most of you know, is Sephiroth from FF7 Advent children... i really can't wait till it comes OUT!!! i've come to a conclusion to my hypothesis. basicaly what i've been asking is...as much as i love the new tech and the 3D stuff going on in squaresoft(enix) why is FF7AC in its type of art style (Don't worry there's a point to this)? FF7 had it's own style as in the big eyes, cartoony features and so on. FF8 has more of a real person features; hair, eyes, lips, etc... FF9 seems more of a mix of FF7 & 8 more on 7 though. then you get to 10 which contains properties of 8, probably with more realism also probably due to the fact of new tech'. but why? my guess is because there was a big fat debate on which game was better, 7 or 8 (to me they all are great games but i favor more 7 just for the fact it was the very first game i ever played in my life, even mario)... and so maybe the controversy came with seeing in the next game to end battles. 9 was more cartoony and not very many people are talking about 9 as a kick ass game like the two before (I know there's some out there shaking their fists but i'm not saying i'm not recognizing you). and maybe since squaresoft(enix) has had great feed back with the realism from many consumers lately with 10 and 10-2 and 11 and soon to come 12 or any other products they have out, they probably wanted to continue that style.
well like i mentioned there was apoint to this... FF7AC if you had taken a closer look, is more of a FF8 outlook in style. i've stared day and night at the Sephiorth poster of AC and came to this conclusion. took the game FF8 played several times until i think i could harvest their art style(not the whole block stuff but the 3D). and so i drew what maybe a Sephiroth in FF8 realism sketch.
phew this was longest description compared to most that i've given and from journals
i'm not done it's just a sketch from a picture i'm working of him*teehee*
