This is a great tutorial! But I still don't know how to get the color to show underneath the dots.. I tried setting the layer to multiply, but it still didn't work.. ;;;

hello! this tutorial is great but i am having troubles ):
when i try to do the 2nd pratice, for some reason nothing happens o no;
i transparent pixel lock, and then paint it out with black after duplicating the image layer.
when i do the selection, expand it and then try to blur it...i don't see it blur in the preview it shows before you press okay ):

unlock the layer, it will blur it then

In the last picture before you get to part two, the background has two colors...
I've got my dots one color but I can't get the second color to appear...
How do I do it?

I had the same problem at first, but I tried changing the mode of the "halftone layer" to "multiply", and it worked!
I'm not sure if that's how it should really be done, but it works anyway
