A really nice and well composed tutorial! I only did not understood well the 2.~A praxis~ part, but that maybe is due to my lack of photoshoping skills
I am sure that your tutorial will help me lots in the time to come

Note: In Step 2, merge the Gaussian Blur layer with a flat white (or any other color) layer below it. [Ctrl+E] THEN do the Filter>Pixelate>Color Halftone effect to obtain the desired result. Color Halftone effects don't work on transparent layers.
Thanks for the tut!

I see a lot of questions about the second colour so here, i'll repost up here:
I just figured that out now, after you do everything here, create another layer on top of all the other layers and fill it with one colour that you want then change the oppasity to a lower level and you will get a double colour affect. Hope I explained that clear enough, and hope it works for you! If you have an questions just ask me. (if you need me to clarify anything)

I tried this but... Whenever I do it, like if I use red, it always puts black dots in the middle, and pink with blue, etc. Also, it won't halftone my black. Any idea what's wrong...?

um, I found a problem. When another layer was put on top, the second colour (where there wasn't any white) blended in with the first colour (eg. green and white at start; put red on top, get reddish-green colour). I'm not quite sure what to do here either ^_^"

thank you! it works!
i found that the colours work better when the layer above everything else is set to multiply. it won't change the dot layer's colour as much as it would if the was set at normal.

Oh! I got it. You have to make your gradient the colors you want before you do the half tone.
